Brandon Woodruff added to National League All-Star Team

Milwaukee (WQOW) – The Brewers will still have five players headed to Progressive Field after it was announced starter Brandon Woodruff will make the trip, taking teammate Josh Hader’s spot.

Hader will not participate due to back stiffness, although the Brewers have not put the reliever on the injured list.

Woodruff is quickly becoming an ace on the mound for Milwaukee. The 26-year-old enters the break tied for the National League lead with 10 victories, tied for second with 18 starts and ranked fifth in strikeouts with 126.
