According to the Ladysmith Police Department, officers were chasing a vehicle that failed to stop for an officer. During the chase, police say the suspects threw many items out the window – including needles and syringes.

Jessica Sutten, 32, and Jodi Ramsey (Nichols), 34, both of Ladysmith were taken into custody, according to police.

Police said some of the items have been picked up but they did not find everything. If you locate a needle, syringe, or something else suspicious, it is recommended you do not touch it. Instead you are to contact police so they can safely remove it.
