Plea deal reached for two suspects in Eau Claire rape case

Eau Claire (WQOW) – Two of the three men charged with raping an intoxicated woman in Eau Claire will not have to spend any time in jail.

Charges of felony sexual assault were reduced to misdemeanors Friday for Alexi Gloodt and Alexander Pinero. They pleaded guilty, but the charges will be dropped in one year if they don’t drink or do drugs, and get sex offender assessments and any necessary treatment.

The third suspect in the case, Logan Allen, was earlier placed on probation for five years. He cannot drink alcohol during that entire time, and was also ordered to undergo a sex offender assessment.
