Chippewa Falls (WQOW) – Big horns, big beds and big rigs are all on display this weekend. The 10th annual Big Rig Truck Show is taking place at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds.

The show is family-friendly with food vendors, face painting, giveaways and of course all sorts of semis to explore.

Show owner Linda Biddle said the event gives people the opportunity to see some mammoth rides and learn about the trucking industry. “Nothing gets to you as a consumer that isn’t brought to you by a truck, and the industry is so short on drivers,” said Biddle. “If we make an impression on you today as a ten-year-old and in ten years you become a driver, that’s what it’s all about.”

The truck show runs through Sunday and News 18 is a proud sponsor of the event. You can find a complete list of events and attractions here.
