Rusk County man going to prison for sexually assaulting a child

Rusk County (WQOW) – A Rusk County man convicted of sexually assaulting a child will spend decades behind bars.

Robert Dilysi was arrested in Tennessee in July 2018. The sheriff said he abruptly moved from his Ingram home after he was accused of sexually assaulting a teenage babysitter twice.

On March, 27, a jury found Dilysi guilty on two counts of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child and one count of child enticement-sexual contact.

Monday, Judge Steven Anderson sentenced Dilysi to 20 years in prison, followed by 35 years of extended supervision and probation.

He is given a 404-day credit for time already served while the court process played out.
