Rusk County (WQOW) – Need some cute video to make your day a little better? Watch the video above!

According to the DNR, the Rusk County bear cubs were likely born mid-winter at around 10-16 ounces each, but after a couple of months feeding in the den, they’re ready to get out into the world. This summer, they’ll likely gain over a pound of weight per day.

The DNR says black bears can produce a litter of cubs every two years, usually with two or three cubs. The cubs then stay with the mother for about a year and a half before venturing off on their own.
