Prison ordered for man who drove drunk with a child in the car

Eau Claire (WQOW) – An Eau Claire man found guilty of driving drunk with an infant in the car will spend time behind bars.

In November, Bradley Rasmussen was found guilty of all the charges against him, including 7th OWI and threatening officers.

According to police, Rasmussen drove home from Shopko in Eau Claire last December with an infant in his car. He failed a field sobriety test. Police say he also spat and tried to kick officers.

Thursday, Judge Michael Schumacher sentenced Rasmussen to seven years in prison followed by seven years of extended supervision.
