Light display in Cameron honors Chris Kroeze

Cameron (WQOW)- Barron native Chris Kroeze made it to the top 10 on “The Voice,” and one way the community is celebrating is with Christmas lights and music.

Jennifer Lenbom said this is the 10th year they’ve had their ‘Lenbom Lights’ show at their home in Cameron, and said they have 75,000 lights to help get people in the holiday spirit.

Lenbom said this year when people drive by, they’ll be able to hear Chris Kroeze singing “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer” by tuning in on their radio.

She said they don’t know Kroeze personally, but said they’re excited to support a local artist.

“So we’re excited to have a song this year from Chris Kroeze,” Lenbom said. “So,thankful to be able to support him and his journey on the voice. Being from small-town communities, neighboring communities we have lots of family and friends from the Barron area as well.”

Lenbom said you can see the light show Monday through Friday from 5 to 10 in the evening at 1126 25th Street
in Cameron.

Today was the warmest day of the month with high temperatures in the low to mid 40s across western Wisconsin. The only other days this month in the 40s were this past Saturday and Sunday. While temperatures will be in the upper 30s near 40 again tomorrow afternoon, it won’t be as nice of a day.
