Florida (CNN)- A 10-year-old Florida boy has started a non-profit for kids to read to dogs.

After being diagnosed with dyslexia, Shane Herman started “Let’s Get Booking”. The program was designed to help other kids gain confidence in reading but now, Herman has teamed up with an animal rescue that brings dogs to his events. “Even when i make a million mistakes dogs don’t judge you,” says Shane Herman. The kids gain confidence reading while the pups benefit from socializing. It’s a win win situation the kids are learning how to read and the dogs are getting the attention they need before they find a forever home.
