Washington (CNN)- Imagine you found a bag with $17,000 inside.

Okay, now imagine you are homeless. Well, a man in Washington faced with that very scenario and returned the money. Staff says Kevin Booth has been coming to the Sumner Food Bank for years. When he arrived one morning, he found a bag of the bank’s deposit money outside. Police investigated and then returned the money to the food bank who are now using it to expand. Booth was given a citizen service award and gift cards to his favorite grocery store.
