Virginia (CNN)- Motion alarms at a Virginia high school went haywire after a class snake made a daring escape.
School security officers responded to the alarm in a biology classroom and discovered a boa constrictor named “Buddy” was gone. News of snake-prison-break spread, sparking “hiss-teria”. A county police animal control officer responded and rounded up the slithering suspect. It was put back in its cage and some security upgrades were made.
