Cornell firefighter in ‘good spirits’ following successful surgery

TOWNSHIP OF WILLARD (WQOW) - The Cornell firefighter who was injured on the job is in good spirits after a successful third surgery.

As we've reported, firefighter Justin Fredrickson was injured on the job last week, after the heat of a fire caused a gun to go off. A bullet hit Fredrickson in the abdomen.

The good news comes from the Cornell Area Fire Department. Assistant Chief Matt Boulding gave the update on the department's Facebook page.
