Suspect in Rusk County murders reaches plea deal

RUSK COUNTY (WQOW) - A plea bargain was reached Wednesday with one of the defendants charged in a double-homicide in Rusk County.

Tristan Shober, who was 16 at the time of the murders, pleaded no contest Wednesday to two counts of being party to felony murder. In return, prosecutors dropped five other charges, and agreed not to seek prison time if the pre-sentence investigation doesn't recommend it. He will be sentenced May 27.

Shober along with Adam Rosolowski and Joseph Falk, are charged in the June 2020 shooting deaths of Robert and Bonnie Rosolowski who were Adam Rosolowski's grandparents. The couple's bodies were found in their rural Sheldon home. Falk's and Adam Rosolowski's cases are still pending.
