Memory care facility seeking valentines for residents

Menomonie (WQOW) - If you have a valentine or not there is a great way to spread some love and cheer this Valentine's Day to seniors in Menomonie.
At Our House Senior Living Memory Care they have a fully decorated mailbox for their residents where they're asking the community to consider dropping a note to any of the residents.
The director, Alisha Arvold, said that with the pandemic and being a memory care facility, this year has been especially hard on their residents.
"I think just working in memory care, and the residents not quite understanding what is happening in the outside world, doing something like this, not only for them but for my staff who haven been there for my residents throughout this hard year, I just wanted to bring it into our community," said Arvold.
They are accepting whatever you want to send to spread joy: a card, your kids drawing, gift cards, etc.
You can drop them off at Our House at 820 17th Ave E in Menomonie.
