Judge finds cab driver guilty in Dunn County rape case

DUNN COUNTY (WQOW) - A man tied to sexual assaults in Dunn County, Chicago, and Green Bay will be sentenced in March in the Dunn County case.

Edward Woodberry was driving a taxi cab in Menomonie in 2017 when he was accused of picking up an intoxicated passenger, and raping her multiple times. DNA evidence tied him to unsolved sexual assaults in Green Bay and Chicago.

During a trial Friday in Dunn County, a judge found Woodberry guilty of two counts of sexual assault. He could get up to 80 years in prison at sentencing.

He faces trial in the Green Bay case on January 20.
