Boys and Girls Clubs to host 11th annual Lemonade Day

Lemonade day

Chippewa Valley (WQOW) - The 11th annual "Lemonade Day" is set for August 6 but things may look a little different this year.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley are currently preparing for a rather unique day due to COVID-19 as each organization will have only one lemonade stand per location.

Instead of cups and pitchers of lemonade, each person will receive a packet of powered lemonade, a bottle of water, a specialized cup and more.

"One of the other things that we're doing is that, if someone can't come to the club to pickup their Lemonade Day package, we have volunteers who will deliver it to them or deliver it for them. So, that's a fun addition as well," said Ann Kaiser, CEO of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley.
