(WQOW) - NCAA President Mark Emmert said Friday he is not ready to cancel the fall sports season.

Emmert said he and the NCAA Board of Governors will continue to monitor health conditions around the country, and will continue discussions in August.

In a statement, Emmert said the health and well-being of college athletes is the highest priority in deciding whether to proceed with the NCAA's 22 championship events beginning in late November.
