Eau Claire County (WQOW) - The man behind what the Eau Claire sheriff called the largest drug bust in this area's history is going to prison.
Samuel Serrano was sentenced by Judge Michael Schumacher to nine years in prison followed by 12 years of extended supervision.
He was arrested in April 2019 with 67 pounds of cocaine valued at more than $3 million.
Serrano, from California, was driving semi when staff at Menards Distribution Center found the drugs last year.
He pleaded no contest to possession with intent to distribute cocaine. A drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed but read in.
