Eau Claire County (WQOW) - A Chippewa Falls man charged with his 8th OWI is not competent to stand trial.

That was the decision made by Judge Emily Long on Monday in the case of Timothy Gould.

According to court records, Gould was out on bond in a drugged driving case when he was arrested for his 8th OWI last July.

Judge Long accepted a doctor's findings that Gould is not competent to proceed and is not likely to regain competency.

The case has been suspended until November.
