Hometown Conversations: Helping teens use their voice for change

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

News 18's Katie Phernetton sat down with Dennis Beale in this week's Hometown Conversation to talk about how teens can use their voices for change, how teachers and educators can help and how programs that show representation to black and bi-racial teens are critical.

Beale created a mentoring program called Power of Perception that is being implemented in Eau Claire schools. The program, geared toward middle and high school students of color and biracial students, helps see them in different professional roles as well as set them up for success.
