4th of July Day Forecast

You already know the drill. Hot, humid, maybe a pop-up storm or two. Perfect for a 4th of July weekend at the cabin or out on the water.

Again, don't forget to drink plenty of water in between the adult beverages and take some breaks from the heat to avoid any illness. You'll want to be healthy to enjoy this steamy weekend.

The weekend shows, as you probably guessed, a very similar forecast to the past few days. Highs go towards 90 each day. Dew points will be in the mid to upper 60's all weekend. Heat indices will climb into the low 90's which could be dangerous to those sensitive to heat.

Fireworks Saturday night are a go! Hardly any wind and a clear sky will be perfect for viewing. Sparklers will shine and the temperatures will be comfortable in the mid to upper 70's around 10 pm.

We may see a pop-up storm or two, very small, very isolated, across the Chippewa Valley Friday afternoon. Better chances will be to our southeast in central and southern Wisconsin.

Saturday will be dry, with a slim chance for a pop-up anywhere but it looks like it'll be Sunday morning where we'll see better chances for a few thunderstorms. Again, most of the activity will remain to our west through the entirety of the weekend.

Happy Independence Day to everyone from the Stormtracker 18 Weather Team!
