(WQOW) - The National Football League is shortening the preseason to two games as the league continues to battle through the coronavirus pandemic.
That is according to multiple reports.
According to Kevin Seifert with ESPN, the two weeks of preseason games will be played August 20-24 and August 27-31. Each team will play one game at home and one on the road.
Seifert goes on to say the NFL and the NFL Players Association continue to talk about what getting back on the field for practice and games will look like.
The Packers announced on Wednesday they will not be using St. Norbert's facilities for training camp for the first time since 1958.
The Packers will use facilities at Lambeau Field got all training camp practices, meals and meetings. Housing arrangements are still being made.
