Natural gas concerns following flooding in St. Croix County

St. Croix County (WQOW) - An energy company is addressing natural gas concerns for Baldwin and Woodville residents.

In a press release sent to News 18, We Energies is encouraging residents to notify the company if natural gas appliances or equipment were submerged during the floods. If so, customers should call 800-236-9957.

Company officials said if you smell natural gas, leave the area immediately and call their emergency number at 800-261-5325. Once the water recedes and local officials declare the area safe, We Energies will begins to restore service.
