Woman reaches plea deal in fatal overdose case

Chippewa County (WQOW) - The sentence was handed down Friday for a Cadott woman charged with selling the drugs that killed another woman who overdosed.

Breana Heuer was charged in the March 2019 death of Carissa Kasmeirski who overdosed on meth.

Her boyfriend said the drugs were bought from Heuer.  

She was first charged with reckless homicide, but in a plea bargain that charge was dropped and she pleaded no contest to endangering safety, and selling meth. 

Friday, Chippewa County Judge Steven Cray sentence Heuer to 3 1/2 years in prison.
