Eau Claire County (WQOW) - No prison or jail time was ordered Friday for a Cadott man accused of repeatedly abusing a young child.

Bronson Hrdlicka was accused in 2018 of abusing the toddler.

Her mother said she came home and found bruises on the girl's face, and that another time she saw Hrdlicka fling the girl into a door. She said she also feared he was putting her in a dog kennel as punishment.

He pleaded guilty on Friday but Eau Claire County Judge Emily Long agreed to the terms of a deferred prosecution agreement.

She did not accept the guilty plea, and the case will be dropped if he commits no crimes for three years, takes parenting classes and takes part in domestic abuse counseling.
