Eau Claire made it up to 45 today, which is the first 40 degree temperature we've seen in 20 days. We will likely see 40s again tomorrow, which would make this weekend the first back-to-back 40 degree temperatures since November 24 and 25.
Tonight, temperatures will likely fall to near 20 degrees. It should be a partly cloudy to mostly clear night, but much like last night, we can't rule out a few areas of patchy fog from developing.
Tomorrow should be another beautiful late February day with high temperatures in the low to mid 40s expected once again. You may even want to break out the grill and enjoy the spring-like warmth.
Monday will be slightly cooler than this weekend, with high temperatures in the upper 30s expected. Our next chances for snow arrive Tuesday and Wednesday, but as of right now it looks like the heaviest snow will be concentrated to our south. Be sure to monitor the forecast as it gets closer.
Quiet weather returns for the second half of the week into next weekend, although it will be a bit colder with highs in the 20s.
