Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Literacy development is an important part of growing up. And to help keep kids reading, the Book Scootin' Boogie is giving out free books!

At the event, children can enjoy free snacks while having the opportunity to meet literary icons like Pete the Cat, the Cat in the Hat, and others. Families can enjoy story times with special guests. L.E.Phillips Memorial Public Library will have their Book Bike available for free book rentals and for families to sign up for free library cards. The Children's Museum of Eau Claire will have Sky Stories in their inflatable planetarium to explore. There will be games, crafts, music, and fun!

But the best part is that you can leave with your children can leave with own free book! The books are provided through a sponsorship from Downtown Eau Claire as well as ECASD's Reading Partnership Program-all while supplies last.

The Book Scootin' Boogie is a free family event taking place on Saturday, March 7th, from 9:30 AM till Noon. The event will be located at UWEC's W.R. Davies Center. Free Parking is available.
