This morning should start mostly sunny to partly cloudy, but clouds will increase throughout the day as a quick-moving disturbance approaches. There will be a slight chance of flurries or light snow showers this afternoon, but accumulation is not expected today.
The better chances for accumulating snow arrive on Monday. Current trends indicate the potential for accumulating snow across the Chippewa Valley with the best chances to see 3" or more to our south and east. If the low tracks further north, that could potentially bring some of the higher snow totals into the Chippewa Valley.
There is still some time for things to change, so be sure to check back with the Stormtracker 18 Weather Team as we refine our forecast.
After Monday, there will be plenty of sunshine next week. There will be another burst of cold air in the middle of next week, but temperatures will increase going into next weekend.
