LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – The La Crosse education family will host a benefit this weekend for a teacher and coach facing a serious medical challenge.
Ryan Bott teaches Health and P.E. at Central High School. He was diagnosed in December with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
“We know what cancer can do and we know the costs that can come along with it,” Organizer Katie Drury said. “We also know that going through the fight against cancer is so difficult that there’s a time that needs to be celebrated. For Ryan that time is going to be this Saturday.”
The benefit will be held at Fox Hollow Banquet Hall at N 3287 County Trunk OA from noon until 11 p.m. There will be food and music, raffles, auctions and a bake sale.
