Next blast of cold air moving in

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Temperatures today were below average, but will drop even more as we head into the next few days.

The good news is cloud cover is decreasing across western Wisconsin thanks to nearby high pressure, that trend will continue overnight.

Colder air will continue to settle in overnight, with wind chills dropping below zero later this evening, and actual temperatures likely dropping to around 5 degrees below zero by Sunday morning.

It's definitely going to be a cold start to the day if you are planning on heading out on Sunday morning. Make sure to bundle up if you have any outdoor plans.

Other than the cold, this week's forecast is fairly quiet. Sunday will be a mostly sunny day, but high temperatures will only be in the single digits. Clouds should stay away until after sunset Sunday, when we will see increases in cloud cover.

Cold air will stay with us through mid week, with low temperatures near or below zero, and highs in the teens and single digits likely through Wednesday.
