Eau Claire (WQOW) - If you are getting ready to leave work for the day, roads throughout western Wisconsin remain slippery.
According to the Wisconsin DOT, all of the major highways in the Chippewa Valley are still snow covered. That includes Interstate 94, Highway 53 and Highway 29.
The good news is, as of 4:15 p.m., there are no crashes or road blockages to report. There are a few spots on Interstate 94 where shoulders are blocked but main driving lanes are open.
That was not the case earlier in the day when a large crash closed a 20-mile stretch of Interstate 94 in Eau Claire County. Nobody was severely injured in the crash.
