(WAOW) - The oldest woman in Wisconsin, according to records, has passed away.
Charlotte Strehlow was 111 years old. Born in Stanton, Nebraska in 1908, Charlotte moved to Wisconsin in 1921 before moving to Wausau in 1931. She passed at the Bell Tower Residence Assisted Living Home in Merrill, according to her obituary.
According to the obituary, " records indicate Charlotte was the oldest person in Wisconsin, the 22nd oldest in the United States, and the 76th oldest person in the world at the time of her death."
