Kasi Brouhard has been without a car of her own for months, after her clunker finally bit the dust on a road trip with her sons.

"No power steering, no air conditioning for a couple years. Figured it'd get my biceps in shape. Never fixed it," said Brouhard.

That all changed Thursday after Morrie's Automotive surprised Brouhard with a new Chevy Cruze as part of their '60 Days of Giving'.

"I have no words. None. So excited. It came at a perfect time, and can't be thankful enough," said Brouhard .

Kasi works 60 hours a week trying to keep her family and home afloat, and as a single mom of three boys involved in sports and activities, being without a car made every day a little tougher.

"She basically lives at the baseball fields all summer and is going to and from constantly. So having reliable transportation is pretty critical," said Haylea Jackson, Brouhard's sister.

Haylea and their mom Jan nominated her for the car giveaway, knowing a little extra help would go a long way.

"It can only go uphill," said Jan.

They said the new car will get them over the hill and help Brouhard keep her family running smoothly.

"We've made it by. This will make it a lot easier," said Kasi.

Kasi also received a year's worth of free gas from Mega Holiday and multiple gift cards from iHeart Media.

This is Morrie's Chippewa Valley Mazda's ninth year of the '60 Days of Giving' program.
