Eau Claire (WQOW) - A board game two-and-a-half years in the making has now hit the shelves and it spotlights Eau Claire.

'Eau Claire-Opoly' was created by the UW-Eau Claire Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization.

More than 150 businesses pitched in to help make 'Eau Claire-Opoly' a reality by securing a spot on the board. The creators tell News 18 the familiar game really encompasses the culture in the City of Clear Water.

"They're really impressed with the design and how deep we went into making it Eau Claire-themed. So instead of railroad spots, we have the bridges and these are actual silhouettes of the bridges that we had designed," said Bradley Johnson, one of the creators of the game. "If you're from Eau Claire, it's definitely a game that you're going to like playing."

If you're looking to grab a copy, you're going to want to hurry! Already, 350 of 500 copies have been sold so far.

All money raised from the sale of the game goes toward future Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization events and functions.
