Boyceville EMS chief, captain placed on administrative leave

Boyceville (WQOW) – An investigation into finances of the Boyceville Emergency Services led to the chief and a captain being placed on administrative leave.

The Boyceville EMS Board was first notified about disparities in the credit card statements in early November according to Boyceville President Gilbert Krueger.

Barron County authorities handled the investigation and cleared two of the four credit card holders.

Chief Matt Feeney and Captain Tessa Feeney were then placed on paid administrative leave. They have served in their roles since 2010.

Now, a full forensic audit is underway.

Krueger told News 18 it is very early in the investigation and it is unknown how much money was involved.

An update is expected at the next EMA board meeting on December 11.
