UW-Eau Claire cancels Tuesday evening classes ahead of snow storm

Eau Claire (WQOW) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus will be quiet Tuesday night.

The university canceled classes ahead of the impending snowstorm. Any class that begins at 4:00 p.m. or later, or ends after 5:00 p.m., will not be held.

The Stormtracker 18 Weather Team is predicting up to a foot fo snow to fall on the Chippewa Valley tonight and tomorrow.

Despite many people headed to see family for the holiday, officials say travel is not advised Tuesday night or Wednesday.
