Osseo (WQOW) – According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, an Osseo man has been arrested for his 5th OWI after getting into an accident while under the influence.

On Monday, State Patrol Officers responded to a minor crash in the parking lot of a Speedway gas station in Osseo. When troopers got there, they learned that one of the drivers had left the scene and headed to the McDonalds across the street.

When the troopers caught up with the driver, they identified that man as 47-year-old Larry D Petschen from Osseo. They then smelled alcohol on him and gave him various sobriety tests.  He was then arrested for a 5th OWI offense and possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.
