$5,000 reward offered for tip that leads to man missing from Sawyer County

Winter (WQOW) – There is now a reward for anyone who provides the tip that leads to a man missing from Sawyer County.

Norbert “Tony” Anthony Dantzman, 89, was last seen with his family in Sawyer County in August according to the Wisconsin Justice Department Silver Alert Facebook page.

Now, the family is offering $5,000 for information that leads to Dantzman.

According to his family, Dantzman was visiting from California to celebrate 100 years since his family purchased the family farm near Winter, Wisconsin.

He walked away from the hotel by himself, likely confused, and appears to have caught a ride from someone since search and rescue canines lost his scent at a highway.

He could’ve taken up residence with an elderly woman with similar cognitive issues, according to his family.

Dantzman is believed to not have an ID on him or any money.

Dantzman was last seen wearing a checkered shirt with a black vest, black pants, black shoes, a gray hat with the Marines emblem and glasses.

He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 136 pounds and has brown eyes and gray hair with a beard.

Those with information about Dantzman’s whereabouts can call the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Department at (715) 634-5213.
