Altoona police sport pink badges for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Altoona (WQOW) – The Altoona Police Department is unveiling a uniform change as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

All month, officers will wear pink badges to help spread the message for people to get checked for breast cancer.

According to the World Cancer Research Fund, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women – contributing to 25% of cases.
