There are plenty of activities planned for the entire family at this year’s Haunted Hustle!
There will be a half-mile fun-run for all the kids, costumes are encouraged! And back by popular demand is the silent auction! Bid on a variety of items provided by some of your favorite local businesses. Last year, items included Country Jam tickets, a YMCA Family membership, Metropolis Resort day passes and much more! Our onsite vendors bring in more things for kids and adults to do and see while at the Haunted Hustle.
This year the proceeds from will benefit the following organizations: The Epilepsy Foundation of Western Wisconsin, Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes, and L.E. Phillips Career Development Center. Each of the organizations will benefit, but Haunted Hustle Participants will choose who gets the biggest donation! 1st place gets 50% of proceeds, 2nd place gets 30% of proceeds, and 3rd Place gets 20% of proceeds. If you register for the race, you receive a token to cast your vote on the day of the event.
The event will take place in Owen Park around 9:30 AM on October 19th. Packet pick-up will be on Friday, Oct. 18 from 8 AM till 6 PM at 2503 Hillcrest Pkwy in Altoona. The day of the event, registration and packet pick-up is at 8 AM. The Spooky Sprint starts at 9:15 a.m. and the 5K run/walk starts at 9:30 AM. Local vendors will start serving at 8:00 AM.
