09/19: Interview – The Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra

The Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra has arranged for a very special evening to celebrate the start of a new concert season.

There is no better way to start a season than with an evening celebrating “Music You Love By People You Know.” The evening will include a cocktail reception, dinner, and a performance by Richard Lin, Gold Medalist of the 2018 Indianapolis International Violin Competition, and keynote speaker Mr. Glen Kwok. Please join in for an evening of great food, musical performances, a silent auction, and much more! Their goal is to raise money to support the Symphony Orchestra as it moves into its 45th season, and they cannot do that without your support.

The Symphony Orchestra is also thrilled to perform two of Brahms’ concertos with world-class soloists Richard Lin, the Gold Medalist of International Violin Competition of the Indianapolis and Kenneth Broberg, the Silver Medalist of the Cliburn International Piano Competition. They will also be cherishing the holiday spirit with favorite Christmas classics including “The Nutcracker”, with an elegant ballet performance by the dancers of Diamond School of Dance. And don’t miss “Peter and the Wolf”, the most beloved masterpiece for young audiences at the February concert. The Chippewa Valley Festival Choir will join in to celebrate Mr. Beethoven’s 250th birthday, performing his mighty “The Ninth Symphony”. Come experience the power of live music!

To reserve your tickets for any of these events, you can contact The Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra at info@cvsymphony.org or 715-832-6366.
