Menomonie (WQOW) – A new event is helping children and families in foster care.
Wisconsin Foster Closet has been around for over six years. The organization became a non-profit in June 2018, so just over a year.
This festival helps make the community aware of the organization and how they help children and families in foster care. The event will also showcase their new location and invite the community to see their new facility. The event takes place September 7, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 3375 Kothlow Avenue in Menomonie.
There will be yard and carnival games, a bouncy house, pie in the face, police car tours, face painting, food, a silent auction and much more.
