The weather has been seemingly uneventful over the past three days and it doesn’t look like it will change much for the weekend.
Nothing is really going on around the upper Midwest except the large region of high pressure that is parked over northern Canada. That cool air circulation is providing slightly below average temperatures this week.
The weekend outlook has 3 great days of weather for anyone looking to get outdoors. Highs in the upper 70s with dew points being low making for a perfect weekend.
Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions and light winds through Sunday. The next time we’ll see dew points spike will be Monday and then the cool and comfortable weather returns to end August and greet September.
It isn’t until Monday where we see a low pressure system extend a cold front across the central U.S. that will lead to widespread rain showers and some thunder.
Precipitation amounts could get as high as a half an inch, but there isn’t that much moisture moving in ahead of this system.
