The sun made a brief appearance in the Chippewa Valley late in the day on Sunday, but more clouds and storms are on the way for the beginning of the work week. Tonight will be partly cloudy with lows in the low 60s. Humidity will continue overnight, and there is a chance for patchy fog to develop overnight into Monday morning.
Monday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the afternoon hours. Storm chances will increase Monday night into Tuesday. Unsettled weather will continue into the day on Tuesday and there is a possibility some storms may turn severe. Persistent cloudiness will keep temperatures below average for the next few days.
By Wednesday morning, showers will be on their way out of western Wisconsin. The below average temperature trend will continue through the middle of the week, but humidity will drop considerably for Wednesday, leading to a much more comfortable couple of days.
The week will end on a warmer note, with increasing temperatures and storm chances going into next weekend.
