Eau Claire yoga studio collecting school supplies for ECASD

Eau Claire (WQOW) – With the Eau Claire Area School District just a month away from the beginning of a new academic year, one local yoga studio is working to help students start off on the right foot.

Latitude 44 Yoga is collecting and donating school supplies to the district as part of its Karma Project initiative.

The Karma Project was started for members of the yoga studio to give back to the community by offering help organizations in the area.

The studio’s owner Amy Erickson said school supplies donations is the least they can do to help the community.

“Back to school supplies is definitely something that can be of concern for parents, so why not at least put it out there? And our community always just scoops it up and is so quick to help. It’s something that we can do, therefore I think we should do it,” said Erickson.

If you’d like to donate supplies to the Karma Project, you can drop them off at the Latitude 44 studio through the 25th.
