Polk Co. crash causes vehicle to roll, start on fire
Polk County (WQOW) – In Polk County, a driver was flown to the hospital after a crash caused their car to roll over and start on fire.
It happened Monday morning on Highway 87 north of St. Croix Falls.
According to police, A Volvo crossed the center line and hit a Honda Civic. Both cars rolled over.
Police said the Volvo landed on its hood in the ditch, and caught fire.
First responders were able to put that fire out and free the driver.
The driver was flown to a hospital in the Twin Cities. The names and status of both drivers is unknown at this time.
