Eau Claire County Humane Association hosts summer sale

EAU CLAIRE (WQOW) – The Eau Claire County Humane Association is putting on its summer sale through Friday.

All proceeds from the sale go toward providing care necessities for animals at the shelter. Dozens of pet toys, treats, kennels, cages, aquariums and even costumes are for sale.

“People give us donations which we love, but we can’t always use them,” said Jessica Stewart, the development director for ECCHA. “We might just have more kennels than we need, or bird cages and what not. So we are trying to make some room for other things we’re going to need in the fall and the winter coming up.”

The items range in price from $1 to $5, with larger items like dog crates priced from $15 to $20. Many of the items being sold are new and still in its original packaging.

The sale goes until 7 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
