Police want your help finding suspect in weekend gun incident

Eau Claire (WQOW) – Police were called to 3rd Street over the weekend because someone was allegedly pointing a gun out the window at people in a yard. One of the suspects is in custody, but police need helping finding another person.

According to Eau Claire police, it was around 8 p.m. Saturday when the call came in. They say a person was pointing the gun, pictured below, at people in a yard in the 2700 block of 3rd Street.

The vehicle was spotted shortly thereafter on Water Street and stopped by police.

Officers found an airsoft gun, pictured below, in the vehicle.

Police said the driver, Gabriel Kurschner, 18, was arrested for disorderly conduct, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eau Claire officers believe the passenger was Noah Beckstead, 17. They said he was dropped off before police found the vehicle on Water Street.

Police need your help finding Beckstead. They want to talk to him about what happened.
