The Heyde Center for the Arts says its very important to get the youth involved in the arts. And this summer they have a few programs for that very reason!
One of them being, Chill on the Hill. Area artists will teach a short art class for kids. Its every Tuesday starting June 18 and running through August 13. The program is designed for ages four through ten and will be from 11:00 till 11:45. The best part: it’s free admission!
Another good program is the summer summer theater production of “Oliver!” The production features local kids from elementary age all the way to our 80 year old kids at heart. The Heyde Center is collaborating with the Eau Claire Children’s Theater to host three workshops for kids ages four to fourteen. These are week-long workshops that introduce kids to acting and theater performances. Performances are Thursday, July 18 – Sunday, July 21. Registration is going to be done through ECCT. You can call them at 715-839-8877 or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets available now.
