Now that school is winding down you’re probably thinking of ways to fill those summer days for your kids. Well one great thing to get them involved in is music camps!
Show Choir Camp is from June 24-28 and it’s open to all students entering 6th grade through graduating seniors. Classes include music, dance and acting each day. It’s Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:15. Lunch is included. On Friday it’s from 8:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. with lunch and dinner included. Friday there is a concert at 7 p.m. at the Altoona High School Auditorium. It’s $250 per student
But if you can’t make the June Camp, there is one available in August. It’s open to all student entering 4th grade through 8th grade. Students will hear a variety of choral music and work on techniques to help enhance choral singing. It’s August 12-16. From 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. On the Friday is 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. with a concert at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Altoona High School Auditorium. It’s $45 per student.
Students who register for the Show Choir Camp and Choir Camp will receive a $25 discount. Registration is open and can be found online. For more information, watch our video above!
